Sound Effects generates custom audio clips from a plain-text description of the sound you want. Instead of hunting through stock libraries for something close enough, you describe exactly what you need and the AI produces it — from a thunderstorm to a laser blast to a crowd roar. Go to Tools > Audio > VoiceZen > Sound Effects.

Generate a sound effect

1

Describe the sound

Type a description of the sound effect in the prompt field. Be as specific as possible — include the type of sound, its character, and any contextual details.Examples:
  • Thunderstorm with heavy rain and distant rolling thunder
  • Laser gun firing with a high-pitched electric discharge
  • Crowd cheering in a large stadium, building to a roar
  • Wooden door creaking open slowly
  • Underwater bubbles rising to the surface
Click the Sparkles icon to automatically expand your description into a more detailed prompt. You can also open the Pencil icon for the full prompt editor.
2

Set the duration

Click the duration button (clock icon) and select how long the sound effect should be:
DurationNotes
2 secondsShort, punchy one-shot effects
5 secondsStandard length for most SFX
10 secondsExtended effects or ambient loops
15 secondsLong atmospheric textures
22 secondsMaximum duration
All durations cost 150 credits per generation regardless of length.
3

Adjust prompt influence (optional)

Click Settings to adjust the Prompt Influence slider (0–1). This controls how closely the generated audio follows your text description.
  • Low values give the model more creative freedom, which can produce unexpected textures.
  • High values keep the output tightly aligned with your description.
The default value of 0.3 works well for most prompts.
4
